On Sunday we had our spooktacular family funday where we had a variety of Halloween themed crafts and activities to do. There was face painting, badge making, fabulous flapping bat bracelets, spooky spiders, marvellous masks and pine cone bird feeders. Some of the staff dressed up for the occasion in scary outfits and there were carved pumpkins on display outside our visitor centre. We had a good number of families through and all seemed to thoroughly enjoy the activities we had to offer. There was even a photographer from a local paper who came to take some pictures of the action!
We’ve still got our Halloween treasure trail running this week so pop along with the kids to solve some creepy clues and win a prize.
Our next family funday will be on December 1 when we will be feeling in the festive mood. Come along and enjoy some Christmas crafts in our visitor centre!
