We are extremely concerned about this very damaging proposal in the Flow Country. The proposed windfarm site is literally next to the Forsinard reserve and would have a direct impact on birds both on the windfarm site and in the surrounding area.

Please do share this story with anyone that you think is concerned with inappropriate developments such as this.

More information on the case can also be found at: http://www.rspb.org.uk/ourwork/casework/details.aspx?id=tcm%3A9-264548

Objections that are recieved by the end of 20th September 2013 carry more weight, but even if you read this after that date please make your voices heard and help us protect this site, which should be restored to blanket bog and is home to a suite of protected birds such as red-throated diver, black-throated diver, greenshank and hen harriers! The email addresses to contact are contained in the first link above!

The pic is of a red-throated diver - just one of many iconic species which breed in and around the proposed site.
