Important Notice – Forsinard Flows – Trail Closure – 16/12/21 to 28/02/22

This winter we are continuing to work on our important peatland restoration program at Forsinard Flows.
 
From Thursday 16th December 2021 until Monday 28th February 2022 we will be working in the former Forsinain plantation. This work will include forestry operations, such as mulching, and hydrological work with excavators.
 
We hope that you will understand that in order to ensure visitor safety we have made the decision to close the Forsinain Trail during this period. The Dubh Lochains Trail and Flows Viewing Tower remain unaffected and open to visitors. The Forsinard Flows Visitor centre is closed over the winter period and will reopen in April as normal.
 
We are sorry for any inconvenience that this trail closure causes to our visitors but we hope you will understand and that you will look forward to seeing this area as it restores back to a more natural peatland habitat over the coming years.
