Do you know your divers from your ducks? Your teal from your tufties? Your golden plover from your dunlin?

Do you know your sphagnum from your sundew? Your ‘chaser from your ‘hawker?

Can you navigate and walk across rough, wet terrain?

Would you like the opportunity to volunteer and help conservation on the RSPB’s biggest reserve in the UK?

If you have answered yes to the above questions then you could be just the volunteer for us. We are looking for a volunteer to join us for 6-14 weeks, with an immediate start, to help with bird surveys, predator transects and practical management work. You need to have good raptor, wader and duck ID skills, be able to navigate with a map, compass and GPS and be able to drive.

If you are interested please contact Claire, our Assistant Warden at claire.foot@rspb.org.uk.

To find out more about the reserve and what our volunteers get up to check out our facebook page, their past blogs and the RSPB website.
