The Great Big Green Week starts today Saturday 18th September and runs all through next week.
It’s the largest event for climate and nature ever seen in the UK where thousands of events will take place across the country to highlight the urgency of climate change and get communities taking action towards preserving their green spaces. You can find the nearest events near you on the Big Green Week interactive map and if you live in the Flatford /Dedham area and have not yet visited us at the wildlife garden, this week could be the perfect week to do so!
We have lots of information and tips on gardening for wildlife and protecting nature in our visitor centre and volunteers will be at the garden to show you around and offer wildlife friendly information and suggestions that you can take some to try in your own garden.

It could be just a small change but if we all do a little more to help the wildlife and green spaces around us, collectively we can make a big difference, so do come and see us, try ways to help nature on your doorstep or browse the resources page on the Big Green Week website for more ideas about what you can do.
It's a week to celebrate our green spaces!
The Flatford Wildlife Garden, is currently open every day until October from 10.30am – 4.30pm. Entrance to the garden is free and well-behaved dogs on leads are welcome.
