We are thrilled to announce that our re-opening date this spring is scheduled to be Monday 12th April 2021.

This is in line with stage 2 of the government's roadmap to ease lockdown when "Most outdoor attractions and settings, including zoos, and theme parks, will also reopen although wider social contact rules will apply in these settings to prevent indoor mixing between different households."

It will be fascinating to see how nature has been forging ahead with very little human presence apart from our small team of dedicated volunteers trying to keep things in reasonable order. Even a wildlife garden needs a little bit of gentle management and tlc to maintaining optimum conditions for plants and wildlife to thrive.

Access to the garden is free but there is a £5 charge in the (rural and pretty!) National Trust car park at Flatford where there is extensive walking around beautiful Constable Country available.

We will be open everyday 10.30am-4pm and will confirm the opening date again nearer the time here on the blog and on the Flatford Garden Website.

The whole team are looking forward to having gardening novices and enthusiasts back in the garden again to share our joys and sometimes failures, knowledge, beauty and tips on gardening for  wildlife.

The Flatford Wildlife Garden is currently closed but scheduled to re-open on Monday 12thApril 2021 everyday 10.30am-4pm.
