Can someone with more knowledge than me please ID this Thrush juvenile as a Song or Mistle species? This lovely young bird sat still for about five minutes.......Thus, no song was heard and also, no underwing colouration could be observed. Help!
This Thrush was not spotted at Fairburn, but at Newtondale Halt train station (Pickering to Grosmont steam train line). If admin prefer only Fairburn Ings sightings, I will remove the pic after it has been ID'd. Many thanks.
On another subject entirely, but related to a post I made on the Fairburn Forum: Can the wonderful lady who makes the lemon drizzle cake for Fairburn Reserve please send me a cake parcel to Essex? Kidding of course, but it's seriously scrumptious cake :)
