Sightings

Had a decent morning down at Lin-Dyke Hide with my friends Keith and John. After arriving the first spot was 5 curlew flying in from New Flash area, they in turn caused a grey plover to lift off Spoonbill flash. It had been sat with around 20 Golden plover and 60+ Lapwings plus a Dunlin. Then in front of these birds I spotted a Redshank, then John pointed out 2 pair of Pintail up in the far left corner, these had been so reclusive the last week, we thought they had moved on. Next to be spotted was a couple of Shoveller then a pair of Goosander dropped in to complete the picture. Just as we were about to leave a female Goldeneye appeared amongst all the Coots. So a good morning was had by all, roll on tomorrow.
