In recent sightings Cedric's Flash is mentioned.Can anyone explain where this is please.
As an occasional visitor I'm not sure however in one of the threads, about seeing a Purple Heron... "I glanced across Cedric’s Flash (the pool on the left if you’re coming from Allerton Bywater)..." Now my guess then is that it's one of the two pools virtually opposite the Lin Dyke Hide car park? As I say, only a guess and happy to be corrected, but thought that might help?
Cedric's Flash is indeed the pool along Newton Lane, on the left if coming from Allerton Bywater, and opposite New Flash on the visitor maps. We don't write all of the smaller pools on the visitor maps as they would get a little overcrowded if we did!
