A windy start produced 4 Little Egrets and 2 Greenshanks on the Moat, plus 3 Blacktailed Godwits on New Flash.
Walking up Lin Dyke, of note;
Great Spotted and Green Woodpeckers plus 2 Jays and another Little Egret on New Flash.
Best was yet to come, from Lin Dyke Hide a superb Ringtail Hen Harrier went by, quartering the meadow between the flashes, going for a young Pheasant at one point - watched for several minutes until it went low out of sight.
6 Ringed Plovers, a Curlew and a Dunlin were of note.
