Recent Sightings

Whilst I very much appreciate you telling us about the recent sightings at Fairburn what would be even more helpful is if you also mentioned where the birds, butterflies, bluebelle's etc.were actually seen on the reserve. As you know it's a very big area so it's not a lot of use if we go to the wrong part for something we really want to see only to find it's the wrong area.
  • Hello-Thats useful advice i will try to bear that in mind for the future. Thankyou

  • hi mrstee, thanks for the feedback. We try, where possible to mention the locations of the sightings when we write the blogs, but it can be tricky, wildlife moves around quite a bit.  (Although the bluebells are staying put along the path at Bob Dickens hide and along Cut Lane.)  If you are visiting the reserve the best thing to do is pop into the visitor centre, we can tell you the latest information we have about wildlife sighted on the reserve, including where it was last seen.
