Bus The Nature Park is served by a regular bus service. The 168 runs between Leeds and Castleford. It leaves from Leeds City Centre Corn Exchange and Castleford Bus Station, running twice an hour Monday to Saturday and hourly on a Sunday. To enter the Nature Park, leave the bus at the Bowers Row stop which is beside the main entrance to the Park.

Bike If you enjoy cycling two national cycle routes pass by and through the park.

Route 67 the Trans Pennine Trail: this is a traffic-free route which follows the Aire and Calder Navigation from central Leeds.

Route 697 the Linesway: this is a traffic-free route from Garforth to Allerton Bywater which joins with Route 67 via a route through the Nature Park.

Steam locomotive You can also access the park using the train, there is a station at Woodlesford and it is a 30 minute walk along the canal to enter the site near Lemonroyd Lock.

  

WalkingWith 11 entrances into the Nature Park there are plenty of ways to access the park on foot from Allerton Bywater, Mickletown, Methley, Oulton, Woodlesford, Swillington and Great Preston.
