Yesterday morning I braved temperatures of -10 to do an outside radio interview for BBC radio Leeds. The time was 8am and the sun was just rising at the top of Redshale road. The frost on the trees as they disappeared in the mist was stunning and the whole sight was bathed in an orange light. The Idea of the interview was to talk about the landscape and the wildlife and to talk about the importance of feeding the birds in this cold weather!
