Just taking a few minutes off from our end of year stocktake to report that despite the awful weather we have a few good sightings today.  The penduline tits are still present, a swift (presumably the pallid) was seen over the ARC site this morning and the great white egret has reappeared.  Add to these two tree sparrows on the car park feeders, at least ten yellow wagtails near Makepeace hide and a bittern and it really hasn't been a bad day.
