Quick update that yesterday 2 spoonbills were seen from the visitor centre and Firth hide on Burrowes pit. A ringed neck duck was spotted on the small lake by Boulderwall farm house late afternoon, a beautiful black bird it has distinctive white markings on its beak and down the side of its body. It is still there today! Along with a cattle egret who's hanging out with the cows. The weather's clearing up here now, so pop down and have a look!

Please be sensible when parking. Do not leave your cars parked on the verge and please make sure that the track is kept accessible for passing vehicles. Stopping to look by your cars is, of course, acceptable (particularly in the rainy weather!)
