The rare birds just keep coming! An Alpine swift was spotted over the ARC site at about 12.30 this afternoon before flying over New Diggings (where, luckily, it was visible from the Visitor Centre) and then heading off towards Lade.  It hasn't been seen since but ther's a chance that it might turn up near the Power Station again this evening - it was first seen there yesterday at dusk.  The penduline tits have been showing well again and there are still six Slavonian grebes around the site.
