Today's update of a few sightings around and about. A group of 9 Redwing flew over the main car park this afternoon. Bradbury Lane off Banks Lane has a couple of rows of mature trees which is always a good place to look out for Redwing in the tops, as are the fields next to the car park for Fieldfare. We're often at the top of the main car park here with scopes to take a closer look at what's around as well as the latest info on what's going on the work we're undertaking at both Dove Stone and in the RSPB generally. If you see us come and say hello !

Elsewhere around Dove Stone today we've had Dipper , Red Legged Partridge, Raven and lots of Goldcrests. Also an unconfirmed ( but still very possible ) Woodcock alarm calling. Also seen yesterday we've had both Treecreeper and Nuthatch.  Up at Binn Green look out for lots of activity on the feeders there.  Surely can't be long now until we start to see Brambling? More soon with an update on sightings over the weekend...
