Continuing with '30-minute-birding' around Binn Green. No new species today unfortunately - still looking out for Lesser Redpoll. This morning's half hour gives us: Great Spotted Woodpecker, two Mistle Thrush, two Jay on the peanut feeders, a few Goldfinch but not as many as yesterday, Greenfinches, no Siskin this morning, Great Tit, Coal Tit and Blue Tit, two Robins, plenty of Chaffinches, two Blackbirds, Pheasant and five Woodpigeon. That's it ! More tomorrow and coming soon taking the '30-minute-birding' idea to other parts of Dove Stone...

  • Hello Rachel. Managed to get across this morning. My list in 30 minutes at 1030 - Chaffinch, Goldfinch,Greenfinch, Robin, Blackbird, Brambling (2-1 male and 1 female),Treecreeper, Male and female G S Woodpecker,Nuthatch,Gt tit, Blue tit, Coal tit,Woodpigeon, Magpie, and Pheasant. Regards DB
