A lovely clear, cold day saw plenty of activity at the feeding station at Binn Green with good numbers of siskin, chaffinch, greenfinch, goldfinch, blue tits, coal tits and great tits.
Other visitors included a treecreeper, jay, 2 redpoll, blackbird, robin, magpie, long tailed tit and a great spotted woodpecker. Increased numbers of pheasants were also evident.
At Ashway Gap there was a solitary grey wagtail and 2 ravens on the quarry face.
