Today’s sightings at Dove Stone included pied wagtail (with young), swallows, mistle thrush(also feeding young ones), meadow pipit, magpie, mallard, grey wagtail, wren, a family of canada geese, mallard, a single cormorant and sandpipers.
The highlight though was three peregrines in flight above the quarry face with their flying skills showing clear improvement.
There are also reports of several ring ouzel up towards Chew.
