A quick update on the Dove Stone Peregrines.  We’ve known that the female has been sitting on her eggs for a while now and suspected that they’d hatched but it wasn’t until yesterday that we got  confirmation that she has two chicks ! We can see them on the nest ledge now and yesterday we were able to watch them being fed by the female bird.   It does feel like an incredible privilege to watch these stunning birds.  We continue to get good views of the male who’s now regularly seen hunting and bringing in prey.

Elsewhere around Dove Stone one of our volunteers,  John,  had a cracking day watching Reed Bunting,  Stonechat, Dippers,  Common Sandpipers and a female Merlin.  We've also seen Coal Tit,  Goldcrest, Buzzard,  Skylark and a Weasel.

Don't forget about the Wildlife Walk this Sunday at 11am !
