A friend and I took a visit to Parkgate on Christmas morning looking primarily for Hen Harriers from the promenade. Didn't spot any Hen Harriers but were graced with multiple sightings of Marsh Harriers overwintering on the marsh. Saw at least 5 adults, male and female. Also saw a Great Egret.
All such beautiful birds.
