Hello there, there's lots to report today so with out further waffle, off I go.

First today are the sightings from the book at Old Moor, thanks go to Danni for sending them my way today.

From the reedbed hide today there are reports of mallard, tufted duck, coots, mute swan, black headed gull, teal, Canada geese, oystercatcher on the banking and reed bunting. And from the screen, a water rail was heard.

Next to the sightings from the Bittern Hide today: little grebe, black headed gull, tufties, coots, Canada geese, oystercatcher and curlew. A curlew was also reported from the Wader Scrape hide today, maybe the same one. I know it's spring when I hear them bubbling away on the tops at home, what a beautiful 'bubble' it is too. :)

All the current usual suspects were seen in the bird garden today with the addition of a siskin. They have been a bit thin on the ground so to speak this year, so that's a welcome report.

Four goldeneye were seen from the Field Pool East, a green sandpiper was also on the field pools, a medgull was on the Mere and a yellowhammer was seen in the Tree Sparrow Farm.

In the book from Adwick today were have a report of two small flocks of grey partridge and finally from the book today come sightings from Wombwell of the yellow browned warbler, goldcrest and two greenfinch.

A dunnock enjoying the sunshine in the bird garden recently.
