I'll add to the Old Moor list from today with sightings from Twitter. Thanks go to all who tweet their sightings for us.

From Paul Gould there are sightings of - wigeon, 5 common tern, 3 peregrine, a common sandpiper, snipe and a great spotted woodpecker.

Then to Bolton Ings via John Seeviour. He saw... 2 mute swans with 8 juvs, 3 little grebes and also 3 great crested grebes, 9 mallard and 99 gadwall, 5 tufted duck with 12 juvs, 20 pochard with  2 juvs, 4 cormorants, 3 grey heron, 2 common tern, 3 Lesser BB gulls, 1 kestrel, 1 chiffchaff, 3 blackcap, 3 whitethroat and more than 3 jays.

That's it for today so I'll finish with a little video. It's of a moth, an elephant hawk moth to be precise. It was in the trap last weekend and here it is warming up before flying away.

That's it for today unless you know of more sightings. Please tell us in a comment if you do. Back soonish...
