Evening folks! What sort of a day was it at Old Moor today? Well, in the words of Karen, one of our wardens, it was a “Wellies AND waterproof trousers day”. Sensible advice for any visitors I’d say.
Yet, despite the rainy weather, we do have some sightings. Here’s what was seen today…
It probably goes without saying that this was not a day for photography – though I hear tell you can get fancy underwater ones now! So instead, I had a rummage in the Blog Archive and found this crackin’ redwing from Martin Dodd from this date in 2016. Well worth another airing I reckon. Thanks again Martin!
Until next time.
Oddly enough, I had a jay on my garden feeder today. Last time that happened, posting a letter cost 4d!
Yes, it was a bit damp today - not a good plan to go into Sheffield for a reunion with old colleagues!!! However, I did see a nice jay fly over the road nr Wentworth.
