As it's April the 1st I would like to report that we had 3 emus, a duck-billed platypus .. and a condor was seen over the Wader Scrape !

But I wont ......

The truth is a little less astonishing but hopefully worth reading just the same.

Old Moor still has the 1st winter male brambling  in the garden feeder area along with the usual great tits, blue tits and chaffinches. A willow warbler was also seen which is a nice addition to the list.

There was a blackcap in the area just outside the Family hide and hopefully it might hang around for a while.

16 chiffchaffs were heard in various areas on, and surrounding, the reserve.

Bolton Ings had a buzzard flying over and 5  lesser redpolls were counted on Warbler Way.

Wombwell Ings had 4 little-ringed plovers.
