So good to see one of our local Osprey projects appear on RSPB Forums. Wishing you well witth the new partnership venture - and of course good wishes for the four Ospreys there!
Ospreys Rule OK, but Goldfinches come a close second!
I hope that this thread will soon be adopted by many contributors: and populated with interesting news, views and comments pertinent to the Wigtown Bay Ospreys from and between their supporters both locally and world-wide. The more the merrier so long as we stick to the thread subject matter.
In reply to Original Goldfinch and Eagle-eye:
Comment removed - as now out-of-date.
Last year (2011) we were told "At present the project website wigtownbayospreys.co.uk needs to be updated". Some items were added for 2011, but entries seemed to die off before the end of the season.
It looks as if the same problem is occuring this year (2012). The website as it stands contains some old misinformation, e.g. reference to Sulwath Connections - which has been completed and wound up!
Will anyone from RSPB be able to either do a re-vamp for 2012 or arrange for someone else to do one? If not, can someone close down the website, so that it does not detract from this year's interest in the Ospreys and the Crook.
We spend 90% of net income on conservation, public education and advocacy
