On Friday, 22nd July I am going up to visit the Aberfoyle Osprey Project, the birthplace of H/D our resident female.
Hopefully this visit will give me some inspiration as to what could be improved with our own visitor centre at the Wigtwon County Buildings. It's just a pity that Aberfoyle has got no breeding ospreys this year, after the female abandoned the eggs just before hatching was due for reasons unknown. I'm also planning a visit to the Dyfi and Glaslyn sites in Wales in early August, as I used to work at the Glaslyn project and still know lots of staff and volunteers in Wales.

Time for the second leg of my migration. I will be visiting the two Welsh Osprey Projects on Monday the 8th August (next week). I will be calling in at the RSPB Glaslyn Osprey Project in the morning and the Dyfi Osprey Project in the afternoon. I'm looking forward to seeing some more fantastic birds, meeting the new project staff and hopefully some old friends.
