You're sure of a big surprise!... and this wood is full of delightful surprises! By the dreamy look of this image you'd expect t find sprites, pixies and goblins - and you may well do but more likely you'll find woodland birds, flowers fungi, a lovely stream, leafy gldes, shapely trees, oh, and, er, some ankle deep mud - but it's worth it for all the treats.
This is Crowgutter Wood near Ipstones village and it's managed by the RSPB so go and explore - but take your wellies because it's very muddy in patches - but well worth it!
