Behold what is that I see in the distance?! Alas could it be Coombes Valley? I have come from a far seeking magic in the woods. Care to join me in my adventure? The wind has swept me and my broomstick from the depths of Yorkshire to bring you spooky adventures this Halloween!
It seems I have arrived just in time. Coombes is in desperate need of our help. Get your wands, grab a broomstick and come with me for a ride of a life time through the woods...
Crunching leaves underfoot, the wind sweeps through the trees. Sounds of birds fluttering overhead. Squirrels scurry, hiding nuts ready for winter. Cold winds remind us that Halloween is near.
We witches and wizards know what we must do.
The Fairies have been singing their songs for help from their tiny windows. Bad tidings are ahead, the naughty Halloween goblins have return once more. They have taken our fairies magic. ‘Gone, gone’ the fairies cry. Without the fairies magic to protect Coombes wildlife, how will they cope?
Baddies are already searching the woods seeking our wildlife’s special powers. The owls are hooting for help, whilst foxes shiver scared to emerge from their dens. Bats hide at the tops of trees whilst spiders clamber under our doors to escape the baddies in the woods. Who can help them?
We can!
Join me fellow witches and wizards, sorcerers and other magical beings for a Halloween adventure of a lifetime. Together we can save Coombes Valley. Explore the play trail collecting magic natural ingredients. Use the special mud kitchen to conjure your potion, powerful enough to free the fairies magic.
Then join me in the ultimate Halloween battle for Coombes.
With the help and knowledge of our wildlife and fairy friends we will venture through the woods and banish the baddies, once and for all. Don’t forget your robes. I need some help decorating essential broomsticks and wands first. Then we will be ready to fly!

Join us for our awesomely spooky Halloween event on Friday 31 October from 3:00pm until 6:00pm. This event involves Halloween crafts and the ultimate Halloween battle for Coombes!

Or if you can’t make the event come along and have a go at our new Halloween scavenger trail. Collect natural ingredients, find the magic word hidden around our new Play Trail and conjure a magic potion in our mud kitchen.
