I am sure I saw an Osprey on Wednesday evening about 6.45pm at RSPC Conwy. I was watching what I thought was a large Buzzard over the middle lagoon from the estuary path at the screen, when I realised it was displaying strange behaviour for a Buzzard.
It was circling low over the water and then hovered for a while with long legs dangling down.
I turned away for a moment to get my camera and when I turned back I had lost it!
I was looking in my book to try and figure this out when I realised it must have been an Osprey!
Would I have been watching an Osprey?
