Shelduck, grey lag geese, chaffinch, mute swan, mallard, black headed gull, magpie, skylark, jack daw, carrion crow, kestrel, cuckoo, house sparrow, linnet, collared dove, wood pigeon, coot and little egret on and around pools. A warm summers day with many to follow hopefully.
Pied wagtail, goldfinch, avocet, redshank, oystercatcher, little grebe x 3 and a stonechat spotted by elliott and myself.
Saw excellent perched view of peregrine falcon 5meters away from rspb truck sat there for at least 2 minutes while we gazed at it with inspirational awe. It was a wonderful afternoon, lots of people(s) there enjoying bicycle rides and walks.
