Last week we took some aerial photos of the Reserve and thought we'd share them with you. It's great to get a different perspective on a familiar place!

Looking towards Bowness Common and Rogersceugh from the direction of the hide. 

The area in front of the hide on the right hand side as you look out. It's amazing to see how wet this area is. We specifically chose this time of year when birds aren't using this part of the Reserve to take the photographs. 

Looking towards Scotland and the Solway with the visitor centre in the middle of the image. If you zoom in you can see the small white building to the right of the centre is the new clay dabbin which was built by the Solway Wetlands Project.
