My RSPB Local Group are having there annual bird watching weeks holiday and this time they will be visiting the Isle of Wight in June 2016. I'm hoping that the group will be visiting Brading Marshes on that holiday. But I've no idea what the itinerary is which will be organised by the lady who's organising the trip. What sort of facilities do you have at Brading Marshes. Do you have any bird hides etc. Im hoping to be booking myself to go with the Group when the booking forms are available with my Local Groups quarterly Newsletter in August this year.

Brading marshes have some nice birds in an average year- being close to Bembridge Harbour where Mediterranean Gulls are regular. June is not a great month for migrants or passage waders on the IOW - Nightjars and LEOs in Parkhurst Forest are the summer specialities.

not been there in years- am on the island briefly in July- there are viewing points I believe- see the RSPB website for details;
I don't see a mass of info/ bird records for Brading on the IOWOG website.
