If you’re blessed with webbed feet and spend 80% of your time out at sea, it must seem a bit odd to be on dry land.

There are rafts of puffins, bobbing up and down on the water under the cliffs and we’re getting brilliant views of them on the puffin patrols.

They keep popping up onto the cliffs, having a scout round and then heading back down onto the water again.

It’s almost as though they’re trying to make up their minds if they like this dry land lark.

If you’re on the reserve, our viewpoint vols will help you spot them if they’re around.

But why not plan a visit to the reserve any weekend (or Wednesday) until the middle of July and join one of the puffin patrols.
