Johnny, our new information assistant, can't believe his luck - he's finding the whole experience of working at Bempton just amazing.
When he's in the visitor centre, he can hear grasshopper warblers clicking just outside the door, he walks down the path and hears the "crazy, manic" sound of sedge warblers and today he's seen his first orange-tip white butterflies of the year.
A couple of times when he's been on the reserve early in the morning, he's seen roe deer heading towards the Dell - and then there are those awesome seabirds!
Bempton is a real feast for the senses, he tells his mates. The noise of the warblers, the smell of the seabirds and the feel of the bracing sea winds.
That's one lucky guy!
