At least five pairs of lapwing are looking like they are starting to settle down on nests at the reserve, and another three pairs are present onthe Conservation Area. the first wood anemone has appeared today, last year there was only two clumps of this flower in the area just before you enter the visitor centre, this year there are twelve clumps in all, nice to watch them as they open up with the Sun.
