It is that time of year - the Big Garden Bird Watch is almost upon us... If you are looking to take part this year, or are just looking to get to know some of our common birds a little better, why not come along to our special event at Baron's Haugh on Saturday 24 January. It will be a great chance to learn how to identify the birds you are likely to see in a garden or park near you. They may not be rare, but birds such as goldfinches and bullfinches are stunning to look at. We will also be making some bird feeders that you can take home to attract more visitors to your garden, balcony or windowsill. The event kicks off at 10.30am in the car park and will last about 2 hours. If you don't have your own binoculars, we will have some to share.

If you would like to book a place , or are looking for more information, please contact Stephen Owen on 07872 814911, or email baronshaugh@rspb.org.uk
