This year is Baron’s Haugh’s 30th anniversary as an RSPB nature reserve. Come along and help us celebrate on Saturday 8 June.
There will be a sponsored “walk for wildlife” in the morning, with 5 and 10km routes available. The funds raised will go straight to Baron’s Haugh and help us look after this oasis for wildlife.
Hungry walkers will be rewarded with a value for money tasty filling lunch, before we head on to the final part of the day. From 2-4pm there will be plenty of fun drop-in activities for all ages. Based in and around the main reserve car park there will be something for everyone, from guided bird watching to bug hunting and forest crafts. There’s no need to have taken part in the walk to join in with afternoon – everyone is welcome.
So, why not come along and help us celebrate, it should be plenty of fun!

It was a wonderful day! And a great community gathering with a strong range of people of different ages and backgrounds all making an appearance to support Baron's Haugh and celebrate with it, too. Great job Stephen, Sam and everybody!
