Welcome to the Arne 2014 Buzzard Cam Forum!
After a 3 year wait we have nesting buzzards. We have a least 2 eggs. The first of these was laid on Tuesday 4th May with the second appearing on Thursday.
Buzzards incubate for about 34 days so by my reckoning we should have the first chick in the first week of May. I am going to be the first to guess at the 4th.
If any one else wants to guess dates please feel free.
Also it would be great to record interesting happenings from the nest especially as we get close to hatching time.

Has there been some fledging? I can only see 2!
Not been here all day PW - looked this morning early & sun was at an angle which made it difficult to see clearly let alone grab a pic! Too dark now so will look again in morning!
Edit: Just looked in again & parent flew in & woke them up - definitely 3 on the nest still!!

Just the two this morning - maybe the third is exploring!
Will check again later
Edit @ 12.20 ... this one is intently looking around at something, maybe sibling?
Didn't go far! Three there again now
Earlier today there were only two
Just the two again this morning
Looks as if one on right will be going next - just took off & flew out of sight, then landed on nest again
Great views of wingspan
Cute behaviour from this pair, taking it in turns to play with a feather (from one of their unfortunate victims!)
Parent brings food
One seems to have it all
Moves off with it while the other looks longingly on ... they don't seem to fight!
The cam has been down for 2 days now - do you think they are changing to something else?
Hi LG, just came on her to post about offline cam!! I suppose it's possible it could be moved to another nest but they usually announce it ... now that Michael Wilson is gone, I don't know who to email?
Edit: Have just emailed Arne, will post the reply!
