Bill Oddie is back! No not the comedian come presenter, but the rather unfortunate Blue tit with the overgrown beak. Looking like a mix between Blue tit and Treecreeper he has had to adapt to eat and drink but alas preening is not a strong point...

A wide selection of mammals were seen today including the usual Sika Deer, Rabbit kittens galore, Bank Vole (both alive and another being eaten by the nest box Kestrels), nesting Woodmouse and even a Seal in the harbour!

The pair of Marsh Harrier over Middlebere were seen again today as were the Spoonbill and Dartford Warblers. Whimbrel and Greenshank were a few less regular spots.

In the nest boxes the Kestrels have moved on to 5 eggs now with the Barn Owls on 4, all looking to begin hatching late this month when the hunting duties will have to be stepped up.
