Sunday 9 June, 10am - 4pm
Each year, we join in with the national LEAF event, Open Farm Sunday. It is a fantastic thing to be involved with, getting members of the public engaged with where their food comes from in the UK. For us, it is an opportunity to open the Hope Farm gate and show the locals what we do to put food on the table whilst providing a home for wildlife. Attendance is FREE on 9th June, so there’s no excuse not to book a day out to see what we do!
This year we are cranking up the notch from our extravaganza this year. We will have the same and well loved:- tractor and trailer rides- RSPB and Farming stand- Farm machinery- Nature friendly farming network- bird ringing- a local mammal group- chickens.
To add to that, we have also got some amazing new activities: - butterfly and worm expeditions- local arts and crafts on sale- wildlife-garden tours- invertebrate hunting and identification- a plant stall- spotlight talks on the RSPB’s work and farming- local food produced and in support of a local scout group with an amazing menu in store!
It is really going to be a day out for everyone and we hope to see you all there. With 800 visitors last year, we are sticking to an RSVP only policy, although attendance is always free. Of course, donations are welcome to support what we do at the farm but that is voluntary.

I seem to have missed out on EventBrite tickets. Can I come along? Thanks
I’m afraid we don’t have any tickets left for Hope Farm. You can see details for other farms open on the day here: farmsunday.org
