Hi and welcome to the RSPB Hen Harrier Life project blog.
This is where you can come to keep up to date with all the latest going on for hen harriers across the north of England and south and east Scotland.
It’s a very exciting time of year as we’re all on tenterhooks hoping for successful nests. But with five males having disappeared from active nests in England already this season we’re all also very nervous.
We hope to have the first project satellite tags on birds soon and when they are, you’ll be able to follow the harriers on their journeys wherever they go.
So make sure you check back here soon for regular updates. Hen harriers need all the help they can get, so please tell your friends and lets build a community of people keeping watch on our hen harriers.
We spend 90% of net income on conservation, public education and advocacy
