6 goldfinches on the seed feeders

1 engaging and knowledgeable guide

8 highland cattle with fringes in their eyes

100s of leaves being rustled by

1 chinese water deer

3 birds of prey including

3 hobbies gliding in the bright blue sky

2 kestrels hovering for food

1 female marsh harrier cruising low over the fen

2 tracks made by an otter crossing the path

4 pleasure boats passing us on the river

2 hides visited with

20 pairs of eyes peering through the windows

3 common terns feeding in the accidental broad

6 miles from their nesting grounds

12 feet trampling the

1 kilometre back to reception

5 smiles and words of thanks to our guide

2 railways gates carefully opened and shut

3 red admiral butterflies sunning themselves in the car park

1 visitor sticker remaining

5 tired and happy adventurers returning the

20 minutes back to Norwich

1 amazing day out
