Someone at my local RSPB group alerted me to a very interesting article in this month's Birdwatch magazine by Mark Avery.

In England, only gamekeepers usually prosecuted and landowners who turn a blind eye to persecution on their land are not liable.(This is not the case in Scotland.)

This e-petition calls for a change in law to protect Birds of Prey, but 100,000 signatures are needed before this is debated. Please help, you only need to enter your name, home address and e-mail.
