It's that point in the year again when we encourage you to take the time to celebrate all the things you love that you want to protect from climate change. 2019 will be Show the Love's fifth anniversary and each year it has gone from strength to strength, becoming one of the biggest climate movements in the UK. If you need a reminder of what we have achieved together, alongside our Climate Coalition partners, here are the highlights from last year.
The RSPB and The Climate Coalition continue to call on the UK Government to increase its ambitions on tackling climate change. But they will only feel the pressure to take action if they can see it is something people really care about. So what will you Show the Love for this year? Find out how to get involved at www.theclimatecoalition.org/show-the-love.
Our top tips for taking part:
You can order resources directly from The Climate Coalition here.
Getting a message to your MP as part of Show the Love is more important than ever as it could act as the perfect stepping stone to a huge event that will be taking place on Wednesday 26 June.
We are joining together with all our Climate Coalition AND Greener UK partners to put on massive lobby of Parliament at Westminster. We promise to make it a fun, friendly and brilliant day. In return we want as many people as possible to come along. Bring your parents, your grandparents, and your children!
This will be a day for everyone who loves wildlife and wants the UK Government to do much more for nature's recovery and for tackling climate change.
We'll have more information on this special event soon, in the meantime get that date in your calendar and get ready for a day to remember!
