Five South East reserves are participating in this year’s Big Wild Sleepout:
RSPB Dungeness, RSPB Farnham Heath, RSPB Pagham Harbour, RSPB Pulborough Brooks and RSPB Rainham Marshes.
To enter the competition, all you have to do is follow one of the below social media accounts and tag the account in a post, telling us which of these five participating South East reserves you would most want to sleepout on and why.

Rules
1. This competition is open to all UK residents aged over 18, except any employee of or person directly connected with the RSPB and their immediate family members. Proof of age may be required.
2. The competition is free to enter and no purchase is necessary.
3. The competition is open to amateur photographers and film producers only.
4. All entries must be submitted by following one of the RSPB social media accounts: (Twitter) @RSPB_Southeast, @RSPBUrban, (Facebook) RSPBSouthEast or RSPBUrban, and tagging the chosen account in a public post. We will only accept one entry per user. For example, if you tweet the @RSPBUrban account, and then the @RSPB_Southeast account, only your first tweet will be considered.
5. The reserve information will be posted on the RSPB South East blog and the above social media channels on 3 July 2017. The RSPB must then receive entries by 12.00am (midnight) on 16 July 2017. Any entry which is late, incomplete, deleted or inappropriate will be deemed invalid at the discretion of the RSPB.
6. The RSPB accepts no responsibility for any technical failure, malfunction or any other problem with any server, internet access system or otherwise which may result in any entry being lost, corrupted or not properly registered or recorded. No responsibility will be taken for damaged or lost entries.
7. We reserve the right to selectively endorse entries (using likes, retweets and facebook shares) prior to the closing date, and this is in no way an indication of the winning entry. This will be done purely to increase visibility of the competition.
8. The judges shall assess the entries and one overall winner will be selected. The judges’ decisions shall be final. No correspondence regarding the results will be entered into.
9. The winner shall receive a £100 Rohan voucher. The prize will be sent to the winner by post within 10 days of the winner responding to notification from the RSPB that they have won.
10. The winner will be notified by a direct message through the same social media platform on which they submitted their entry. (either Facebook Messenger or Twitter Direct Message) 48 hours after entry submission has closed. The winner must provide a postal address to claim their prize. If a winner does not respond to the RSPB, with this information, within 2 working days of being notified by the RSPB, then they will forfeit their prize and a replacement winner will be selected from the other applicants.
11. The prize is non-exchangeable, non-transferable and no cash alternative is offered.
12. The prize is provided by Rohan and may be subject to further terms and conditions imposed by Rohan. The RSPB reserves the right to replace the prize with an alternative prize of equal or higher value if necessary.
13. The winner's name and/or social network handle will be published on the competition page of the RSPB South East Blog, and on (Twitter) @RSPB_Southeast, @RSPBUrban, (Facebook) RSPBSouthEast or RSPBUrban

15. The RSPB reserves the right to refuse entry or to refuse to award the prize to anyone in breach of the Rules or the Terms and Conditions or the spirit of the Rules or the Terms and Conditions.
Terms and Conditions
1. By submitting an entry, you agree to be legally bound by the Rules and these Terms and Conditions.
2. Any entry must be your original work and it must not infringe the rights of third parties including copyright, trade mark, trade secrets, privacy, publicity, personal or proprietary rights. In addition, all entries must be produced legally without trespassing on any land and no wildlife or habitats should be harmed, put at risk or unduly disturbed in the process.
3. Full copyright title shall be retained by the author of any entry. By submitting any entry to the RSPB (including any text, photographs, graphics, video or audio), you agree to grant the RSPB a perpetual, royalty-free, non-exclusive, sub-licensable right and worldwide license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, create derivative works from, distribute, perform, display and exercise all publicity rights with respect to your entry, and/or to incorporate your entry in other works, in any media now known or later developed for the full term of any rights that may exist in your entry, and in accordance with privacy restrictions set out in the RSPB’s Privacy Policy.
4. By submitting an entry, you agree to waive any moral rights contained in your entry. Any entry you provide shall be non-confidential.
5. By submitting an entry, you agree the RSPB may use the material for any purpose and in any way it chooses, including, but not limited to, marketing, publicity, advertising and presentations.
6. The RSPB (including its subsidiaries, agents or distributors) shall not be liable for any direct, indirect or consequential loss or damage or for any costs, claims or demands of any nature whatsoever arising directly or indirectly out of the use of your entry or any part thereof.
7. Insofar as is permitted by law, the RSPB (including its subsidiaries, agents or distributors) will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the prize, except where it is caused by the negligence of the RSPB, its subsidiaries, agents or distributors or that of their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.
8. You agree to indemnify the RSPB (and its subsidiaries) against any claim from any third party for any breach of the Rules or these Terms and Conditions.
9. The RSPB reserves the right to update the Rules and these Terms and Conditions from time to time and any updated version will be effective as soon as it is published on the RSPB South East blog, @RSPB_Southeast, @RSPBUrban (Twitter), RSPBSouthEast and RSPBUrban (Facebook).
10. The RSPB takes your privacy very seriously; we will only use your personal information in accordance with the terms of these Terms and Conditions and the RSPB’s Privacy Policy. By submitting an entry, you confirm that you have read and agree to the terms of our Privacy Policy.
11. Any personal data submitted will be held securely and in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998. Personal data supplied may be passed on to third party suppliers only insofar as required for fulfilment/delivery/arrangement of the prize.
12. The winner may be required to participate in publicity related to the competition which may include the publication of their name and photograph in any media. You agree that your personal data may be used for this purpose.
13. For the avoidance of doubt, by submitting your entry you warrant that all persons featured in your entry have given you their express consent for their image, voice or other details to be used and, in the case of vulnerable adults or persons under 18 years of age, you warrant that you have obtained express consent from their parent(s) or legal guardian(s).
14. This competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Facebook or Twitter. In using Facebook or Twitter you acknowledge and agree to be bound by Facebook and Twitter’s Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy.
15. This competition is governed by English law and English Courts have exclusive jurisdiction.
