They must have known February 14th was coming up - this pair of collared doves were getting well and truly in the mood for love:
Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.
Cats and dogs no longer comes to mind, its collared doves now!!!!
Lot to learn
lol, those frisky Collared Doves sure seem to be in the mood for lurvv !

Great to see this lovey-dovey pair, I remember when I used to see these antics on my garden fence ... alas no more since I had to remove large table feeder under pressure from neighbours! So no more CD's or Woodies visits! Grrrrrrr

Thanks Clare. A frequent view for us, on our fence. They continue for so long sometimes that I tell them to carry on elsewhere. LOL
Caught in the act!
Best wishes

I was treated to a Collared Dove shadow-puppet mating show on the canvas roof of our roof terrace in Marrakech - filf, pure filf ;-)
"Let loose the Kraken!"
Lovey dovey, literally. What's nice is that they always seem affectionate with each other.
