Hi all
I don't know how many people on here read the Guardian, but for the benefit of those who don't I thought you may be interested in this recent article by Stephen Moss (I got a copy of 'This Birding Life' for Christmas which I really enjoyed, and I've been on the lookout for his articles as a result).

Although my North London flat sadly does not come with a garden, the lounge window does look out onto someone else's garden - and to my surprise I saw four Redwings last Saturday. Although now that the snow has gone I doubt I'll be seeing them again.
Please feel free to take a look at my blog - http://nick-young.blogspot.com/
I also live in North London and a large flock of redwings spent much of last week here eating the berries off the street trees. My last sighting of them was last Saturday.
