Can't see this mentioned anywhere already,
Tonights Natural World is about birds of paradise! Should be well-worth a watch and my OH will be studying tonight woo hoo! TV all for me! lol
And then it's followed by a Horizon documentary on peoples relationship with dogs.
It starts at 8pm
Millie & Fly the Border Collies
I am currently watching it! It's really interesting and the birds are beautiful. They are the male models of the bird world!
Thanks for the notification! I've only just seen the post, but it's on iPlayer so I'll take a look later. My other half and I sponsor the birds of paradise at Chester Zoo. They're some of the most stunning and gorgeous birds.
A closed mouth gathers no foot.
I was mesmorised by the birds last night. Stunning.
Cheers, Linda.

Blast it, missed it. {frown}
Dave said it was repeated from last year
Still love it no matter how many time it is on

Yes Kathy, it was a repeat. Like most things on TV these days.
I enjoyed it too! Really found the 'Horizon - Secret life of dogs' fascinating too, although I was a bit disturbed at the conditions the black foxes were kept in.... even if the 'experiment' was intriguing!

So was I. Those cages were horrific, especially when you consider the rules and regulations regarding kennel size, materials, and structure, that we had to adhere to when we had our boarding kennels.
I missed it but my Mum couldn't sop going on about it today bless her, she was so fascinated. I've seen the ones at Chester Zoo, so beautiful. I think their Hornbill breeding scheme is amazing.
Thank heavens for I-Player! I've just seen it, some truly amazing footage. I liked the ten-minute technical explanation of the lengths the cameramen went to to film the sequences too.
